GTUC launches Campus Companion


The GTUC Campus Companion is a 10" android tablet which supports existing content such as safari books with eReaders for traditional learning, Google Apps for interactive and collaborative classroom experience and a learning management system called the 'Learner Workspace™'. Learner Workspace is developed and deployed together with the Learning Nuggets.

Campus Companion comes in two versions; Gazer and Startlight both 10". The Gazer version supports GPRS and runs Google's Android OS 2.33 - Gingerbread. The Starlight version does not support GPRS inbuilt, it however works with an external GPRS dongle for data access on Google's Android 4.0.4 - Ice cream sandwich.

GTUC (Ghana Technology University College) is a technology oriented institution of higher learning committed to providing an educational experience.
